Ultimate Sledding at St. Anthony Sand Dunes

Ultimate Sledding at St. Anthony Sand Dunes

posted in: Winter | 0

Description:
Not more than 45 minutes Northeast of Rexburg if St. Anthony’s famous dunes. Now you’re probably thinking, what can I do at the dunes in the winter? The answer is ultimate sledding. St. Anthony covers right over 10,000 acres of land giving space for you to sled. During the winter the snow make a smooth covering over the sand allowing a fun ride down the dune. You might also ask why this is called ultimate sledding. The thing you want to look for when picking out a dune is picking two dunes straight across from each other, making it look like a half pipe. That way, when you sled down you go up the next dune and slide down backwards. The thrill lasts quite longer than the hills from Rexburg. This activity is free and will give you the ultimate sledding experience.
