- Play Jenga in the park with giant wooden blocks.
- Make glow-in-the-dark bubbles (mix bubble solution with cut-open glow sticks)
- Have a water fight with sponges.
- Have a paint fight
- Send a message in a bottle
- Make marshmallow shooters (cut off bottom of cup, stretch balloon if it. Pull and shoot!)
- Play messy twister (with wet paint on a tarp)
- Easter Egg Hunt, even if it’s not Easter
- Steal someone’s lawn gnome or pink flamingo. Run around town taking pictures of the gnome/other object in public places. Print the pictures. Replace the gnome. Leave pictures on doorstep.
- Glue a quarter to the floor of the mall. Sit and watch as people try and pick it up.
- Nerf/Squirt Guns
- Float paper boats
- Borrow bikes from someone and go for a ride (you can find bikes just about everywhere. Many students don’t lock their bikes. Just be sure to return them when you’re down!)
- Play Bigger or Better (Each couple starts with something small—Then they go door to door in your neighborhood asking people to trade you for something bigger or better than the item you currently have. At the end of a specified amount of time, get back together and vote on the winning couple.)
- Go to Ikea. Just eat food.
- Pottery/Glass blowing class
- Blow giant bubbles in park
- Food fight, but don’t tell her.
- Golfing in Dark
- Strobe Light/Techno Rave
- Suran Wrap Football (get a group of girls and guys together to play football. The guys must have their knees suran wrapped together. Girls get to play free.)
- Tissue Game – tape a box of tissues to a table. Using only one hand, see how many tissues you can pull out in one minute. Replace the box, and then race a friend.
- Oreo Game – tilt your head back, place an oreo on your forehead, and using only facial expressions, move the oreo into your mouth.
- Play Cheezit Scrabble
- Make homemade pizzas (For fun you can tie your left hand to your dates right, and you can only use your free hands to make the pizza)
- Iron Chef Date (This is a group date, each couple gets an amount of money, goes to Walmart, and has to make a meal with it. Have another group taste-test everyone’s meals and votes on the winner.
- Walmart Cart Game – this is a group date. Go to Walmart. Walk through the isles and pull ten things off of the shelves. Switch carts with another couple, and see who can find all the items and put them back the fastest. No running, no asking workers, and no misplacing items!)
- Make a BYU-I commercial (make a 30 second commercial of why people should come to BYU-I)
- Paper air plane contest
