Description:
The Nature Park is a great place for joggers and cyclists to exercise in a beautiful environment. Honestly, this is my favorite park in Rexburg, due to its large size, as well as the other parks often being crowded with College students. Located near the fairgrounds on the west side of Rexburg, this 15 acre park has something for everyone. Away from traffic, the pathways provide beautiful and tranquil scenes around the park ponds and ties into Eagle Park, located just north of Nature Park along the Teton River. Wildlife and waterfowl can often be seen in the park.
Lots of geese is seen at this park. They are very friendly. For some fun for the kids, be sure to bring some bread to feed to them!
The ponds are available for fishing all year long. A valid Idaho fishing license is required. General regulations are enforced. One pond has been designed for children under 12 years of age.
Special consideration has been given to accommodate the needs of handicapped or physically challenged individuals so everyone can enjoy this scenic park.

Our family has enjoyed this park so much this summer. My husband and I enjoy watching and spotting the many turtles in the pond. We also enjoy feeding the ducks.

This is also a great area to take photos! During the fall, the leaves are all beautiful colors.

Does the park have lights for the field?

If I remember correctly, Nature Park does NOT have lights. After the sun goes down, it would be difficult to see aside from the street lamps.

Unfortunately, I’m not sure if Nature Park has power outlets. It may be best for you to reach out to the city as far as gazebo rentals go. They may be able to inform you better.
